In wenigen Tagen, am 3. Juli 2015, jährt sich der 80. Todestag von André Citroën. Aus diesem Grund gedenkt der Club “Traction Universelle” am 1. Juli in Paris im Rathaus des 9. Arrondissements mit einer kleinen Veranstaltung und Ausstellung dem Leben und Werk von Citroën.
Von 10-20 Uhr wird eine Sonderausstellung mit Citroëns berühmtesten Modell aus seinen Lebzeiten, dem Traction Avant, der “Gangsterlimousine”, einen Rückblick auf die Innovationen im Automobilbau der 30er Jahre ermöglichen.
Gegen 19h wird der damals unternehmensintern gedrehte Film “Autopolis” einen Blick auf die Produktion bei Citroën in den bekannten Fabriken am Quai de Javel werden. Allein dieser Film ist bemerkenswert, weil er einzigartige Einblicke in das Alltagsleben des einstigen Stammsitzes des Unternehmens gibt.
Abschließend wird noch ein Vortrag um 19:45h gehalten.

80 Years Ago: André Citroën deceases
In a few days, on 3 July 2015, the 80th anniversary of the death of André Citroën anniversary will be seen. Thus, the French club “Traction Universelle” will be commemorating the decess in the town hall of the 9th arrondissement (Parisian district) with a small event and exhibition reflecting the life and work of Citroën on 1-July.
From 10-20 o’clock CET, a special exhibition will present Citroën’s most famous model of his lifetime, the Traction Avant, well known as “Gangster Limousine”, and a retrospective will reflect this innovation in the automotive industry of the 30s.
at 7pm, the in-house shot movie called “Autopolis” will give show details from the production at the Citroën factories located at Quai de Javel. This rarely-shown movie is remarkable because it gives a unique insight into the everyday life of the former headquarters of the company.
Finally, a presentation at 7:45pm will be held.

80 ans du mort d’André Citroën
Dans quelques jours, le 3 Juillet 2015, le 80e anniversaire de la mort d’André Citroën anniversaire sera prendre place. Pour cette raison, le Citroën club “Traction Universelle” à Paris sera commémorer le 1 Juillet à la mairie du 9ème arrondissement du Paris un petit événement et l’exposition de la vie et l’oeuvre de Citroën.
De 10-20h, une exposition spéciale avec le plus célèbre modèle de Citroën de sa vie, la Traction Avant, la “gangster limousine”, permettra nous de voir une rétrospective à l’innovation dans l’industrie automobile des années 30.
Contre 19h, le film “Autopolis” (crée par Citroën dans les annees 30e) sera un oeil à la production avec Citroën dans les usines bien connus au Quai de Javel. Mais ce film est remarquable, car il donne un aperçu unique de la vie quotidienne de l’ancien siège de la société.
Enfin, une présentation sera à 19:45h a eu lieu.
