Am Wochenende des 14.-16. Oktober lädt 2CVRT Sie ein ins Herz der belgischen Ardennen auf die schönste Rennstrecke der Welt, “Spa-Francorchamps”.

Sie werden auch die außergewöhnliche Möglichkeit erhalten, eine Runde dort mit dem 2CV zu drehen. Der fabelhafte Konvoi von klassischen Enten – wunderbar geschmückt oder eingerichtet – wird kurz vor dem Start des “24 Stunden Entenrennen” stattfinden. Die besten werden nicht weniger als 400 Runden ablegen.

In der Campingzone werden WC und warme Duschen frei zur Verfügung gestellt, sowie ebenfalls Holz zum Grillen, um Ihre Nacht zu erwärmen.

In der Shoppingzone kann man nach Ersatzteilen und Enten-Material suchen, sowie Erinnerungsstücke erstehen.

Hier werden auch verschiedene Animationen stattfinden und Sie können ebenfalls die Steigung der “Raidillon” ansehen.

2CV Racing at it’s best

During the weekend of October 14-16th 2011, the 2CVRT invites you to the heart of the Belgian Ardennes on the world’s most beautiful racetrack – the “Spa-Francorchamps”.

YOu will get a chance to ride “one lap” of the track. This fabulous procession of your 2CV’s – classic, superbly decorated or transformed – will take place shortly before the start of the 24h 2CV race. Thereafter, the 2CV’s will take off for a 24h race, 400 rounds for the bravest.

21. August 2011: Citroën Traction Avant-Meeting in Wervik (B)

August 2011 findet in Wervik (Belgien) das 11. “Internationale Oldtimer Meeting” statt: mehr als 450 oldtimers und classic cars und eine Oldtimer-Messe mit mehr als 70 Stände. Mehr als 8000 Besücher aus Belgien, Frankreich, England, NL und Deutschland werden erwartet.

Eintritt und Teilname frei für Alle!

Jedes Jahr gibt es ein spezielles Thema: in 2011 feiern wir den Citroën Traction Avant und organisieren neben dem normalen Classic Car Meeting eine grosse Internationale Traction-Sammlung.

On Sunday August 21th 2011, the local classic car club of Wervik (Belgium) organizes his 11th international classic car meeting. This static car meeting, in the centre of the little town of Wervik, on the border of Belgium and France (20 kms from Lille), will be attended by over 450 oldtimers : classic cars, old agricultural en horticultural machines, motorcycles, army véhicules, vintage cars, … there is also a trade fair with over 70 stands (spare parts, oldtimer literature, miniatures, …).

This meeting, which welcomed last year more than 8000 visitors, is considered as the largest free oldtimer meeting of Belgium and Northern France.

The entrance is free, participation with a classic car or a stand is also free (check conditions on www.oldtimermeeting.be from march 2011 on).

Ce dimanche 21 aout 2011 se déroulera pour la 11e fois le Rassemblement International de Wervik. Ce rassemblement statique dans le centre de cette ville frontalière (à 20 kms de Lille) est considéré comme le plus grand rassemblement gratuit de Belgique et du Nord-Pas de Calais, et acceuille chaque année plus de 450 véhicules anciens de tout genre : voitures anciennes de nombreuses marques (pré 1985), camions et utilitaires d’époque, véhicules militaires, motos et mobylettes anciennes, matériel agricole et horticole d’antan, tracteurs, bolides de sport anciennes, miniatures, … il y a également une bourse couverte et en plein de air de plus de 70 stands (pièces, miniatures, curiosités, …).

Cet évenement est le point de rencontre pour les accros du tacot des quatres coins d’Europe et comptait l’année passée plus que 8000 visiteurs.

L’entrée est gratuite à tous, la participation avec un stand ou un véhicule est également gratuit (ceux qui s’inscrivent d’avance recevront selon certaines conditions un repas gratuit : voir conditions sur www.oldtimermeeting.be à partir de mars 2011) stands intérieurs et extérieurs couvert sont limités, stands à plein air illimités.

Chaque année, le groupe organisateur, les “Wervikse Oldtimer Liefhebbers”, mets en avant une marque ou un modèle spécifique. Cette année, la fameuse et légendaire Citroën Traction Avant sera mis dans les spot-light. Nombreuses Traction Avant seront à l’appel.

Das wichtigste große Citroen Ereignis im Jahr 2010 steht fest: Die belgischen Citroen-Clubs (Amicale Belge des Clubs Citroen, ABCC) organisieren die “CitroenStory 2010 Zolder” auf der berühmten Rennstrecke (ca. 80km zur dt. Grenze) am Wochenende des 24.-25. April 2010, also ein Wochenende vor der Citromobile in Utrecht.

Die ersten Informationen werden gerade auf der Website der Veranstaltung hinterlegt – daher der Hinweis an alle, sich auf http://citroenstory.org/ umzuschauen.
