Wie in jedem Jahr, so ist auch in 2015 die Ausstellergemeinschaft der deutschen Citroën-Clubs, die “Citroën-Strasse”, in der Halle 9.1 auf der Weltmesse für historische Fahrzeuge, der “Techno-Classica” zu finden. Auf rund 400qm präsentiert rund ein Dutzend Clubs, Interessengemeinschaften und Vereine das über alle Jahrzehnte reichende Portfolio der Citroën-Modelle vom 15.-19. April 2015.
Sicherlich wird eines der großen Highlights auch “60 Jahre DS” sein. Der legendäre DS, “La Déesse”, die Göttin: 1957 vom französischen Philosophen Roland Barthes als eine “Kathedrale der Neuzeit” betitelt, auf Platz drei der Autos des 20. Jahrhunderts gewählt, der Lebensretter beim Attentat auf den französischen Staatspräsidenten Charles De Gaulle, eine Stil-Ikone und Mythos zugleich.
Sei es die besondere Lenkgeometrie mit Lenkrollradius 0, eine vorn breitere Spur als hinten, die hydropneumatische Federung mit Zentralhydraulik und automatischem Niveau-Ausgleich, eine Panorama-Windschutzscheibe für maximale Rundumsicht und das Gewicht sparende Einspeichenlenkrad: Generationen von Ingenieuren und Designern der ganzen Automobilindustrie rieben sich an diesem Monument des Stils und der technischen Innovation.
Nach fast 20 Jahren und mehr als 1,4 Millionen gebauten Exemplaren trat die “Göttin” ab, ohne daß sie wirklich veraltet gewesen wäre.
Unter der Regie des DS Club Deutschland e.V. wird diesem Mythos entsprechend Würdigung zuteil. Neben einem frühen Modell und dem “ultimativen” DS 23 i.e. mit Einspritzung werden insbesondere die technischen Details in einem rollbaren Chassis zu sehen sein. Ein Scheunenfund im Originalzustand ist ein weiterer “Hingucker” für Enthusiasten.
Der zweite Teil des Stands setzt sich mit einem weiteren innovativen Kapitel des Marketings aus den frühen Jahren des Unternehmens auseinander: Wie gewinnt man neue Käuferschichten für CITROËN? Ein wichtiger Weg in den 20er Jahren war für André Citroën, schon Kinder an die Marke heranzuführen. Sein Wunsch war es, daß die ersten drei Worte im Sprachschatz eines Kindes “Papa, Mama, Citroën” sein sollten. Neben “Trotinette” (Tretroller) sind die “Citroënettes”, mechanische oder elektrifizierte Modelle im Maßstab 1:4, typischerweise von CITROËN B14, 5HP, C4 und C6 wegweisend für das europaweit herausragende Marketing seiner Zeit.
Natürlich dürfen die klassischen Tretautos nicht fehlen, und die noch immer durch viele Hersteller produzierten Modellautos, die es in etlichen tausenden Versionen gibt, sprechen noch heute dafür, daß CITROËN stets mit Leidenschaft bei den Sammlern begleitet wurden.
Unter dem berühmten Motto “Les Jouets Citroën” werden darüber hinaus auf der von der Amicale Citroën organisierten “Citroën-Strasse” im Maßstab 1:1 ein SM Gendarmerie, 1950er 2CV, “Matchbox”-Traction Avant und Acadiane Wohnmobil, ferngesteuerter XM und BX “Lego” die Aufmerksamkeit auf sich ziehen.

“Citroën-Strasse” is exhibiting at Techno-Classica 2015: “60 Years of DS” / “Les Jouets Citroën”

As every year, the association of the German Citroën clubs, the “Citroën-Strasse”, will be present in Hall 9.1 at the world fair for historic vehicles, the “Techno-Classica”. On approximately 400sqm about a dozen clubs, interest groups and associations will display the all-decades-ranging portfolio of Citroën vehicles between 15-19th April 2015.
Certainly one of the highlights will be the anniversary of “60 Years DS”. The legendary DS, “La Déesse”, the goddess: 1957 titled by the French philosopher Roland Barthes as a “cathedral of modern times”, awarded third as “Car of the 20th Century”, the life saver on an assassination attack on French President Charles De Gaulle, a style icon and a myth.
Be it the special steering geometry with scrub radius 0, a front wider track than the rear, the hydropneumatic suspension with central hydraulic and automatic level adjustment, a panoramic windshield for maximum visibility and the weight saving single bar steering wheel: generations of engineers and designers throughout the automotive industry were challenged by this monument of style and technical innovation.
After almost 20 years and more than 1.4 million vehicles built, the “goddess” ended it’s production in 1975 without having been really out of date.
Under the direction of the DS Club Deutschland e.V. a retrospective of this myth will be shown. In addition to an early model and the “ultimate” DS 23 ie with electronic injection, a cutaway chassis will allow particular insights into the technical details. A barn find in the original state is another optical highlight for enthusiasts.
The second part of the booth deals with another innovative chapter in marketing from the early years of the company: How to win new buyers for CITROËN? One important way in the 20s was for André Citroë to introduce children to the brand. It is translated that his desire was that the first three words in the vocabulary of a child should be “Papa, Mama, Citroën”. Les clubs Citroën sur Techno-Classica 2015: “60 ans de la DS” / “Les Jouets Citroën”

Comme chaque année, de même en 2015, la communauté des exposants allemands des clubs Citroën, le “Citroën-Strasse” (“Rue Citroën”), se trouve dans le Hall 9.1 à la foire mondiale pour les véhicules historiques, la “Techno-Classica”. Sur environ 400m² une douzaine de clubs, groupes d’intérêt et les associations présente tous les modèles Citroën portefeuille de de plusieurs décennies entre 15eme a 19eme Avril 2015.
Certainement l’un des points forts sera “60 ans DS”. Les DS légendaires, “La Déesse”, “die Göttin”: intitulé 1957 par le philosophe français Roland Barthes comme une “cathédrale des temps modernes”, choisis troisième dans les voitures du 20e siècle, l’épargnant de vie du président français Charles De Gaulle, une icône de style est devenu un mythe.
Que ce soit la géométrie de la direction spéciale avec un rayon de gommage 0, une voie avant plus large que l’arrière, la suspension hydropneumatique avec réglage de niveau hydraulique et automatique central, un pare-brise panoramique pour une visibilité maximale et le gain de poids sur le volant: générations d’ingénieurs et les concepteurs tout au long de l’industrie automobile se frotta ce monument de style et de l’innovation technique.
Après près de 20 ans et plus de 1,4 millions d’exemplaires construits, la production de la “déesse” etait arreté sans elle aurait été vraiment fatigué.
Est sous la direction de la “DS Club Deutschland” une retrospective sur les 60 ans est présente. En plus d’un premier modèle et le “ultime” DS 23 ie sera exposé, et dans un châssis de défilement en particulier les détails techniques sont a voir. Une découverte de la grange dans l’état d’origine est un autre “oeil” pour les amateurs.
La deuxième partie du stand traite un autre chapitre innovante dans le marketing depuis les premières années de l’entreprise: Comment gagner de nouveaux acheteurs pour Citroën? Une façon importante dans les années 1920e était pour André Citroën, initier les enfants à la marque. Son désir était que les trois premiers mots dans le vocabulaire d’un enfant doit être “Papa, Maman, Citroën”.
