Es gibt neues von der Reise von Reiner Sowa zu berichten – er hat mittlererweile den Iran erreicht. Erste Station war Maku, wo er von einigen Mitgliedern des iranischen Clubs empfangen wurde.
Dann ging es weiter nach Tabriz – es gab einen großen Empfang mit den Mitgliedern des “Iranian Motorcycle and Automobile Federation”, die ihn stilsicher mit einer Citroën Dyane und einem Citroën Méhari sowie anderen automobilen Klassikern empfingen und ein eigenes Besuchsprogramm für ihn in diesem Tagen organisiert haben.
Wir man den Bildern entnehmen kann, gab es kleinere Reparaturarbeiten an der Acadiane auszuführen.
Wir danken noch einmal insbesondere dem iranischen ACI-Delegierten Houtan Arefi sowie dessen Engagement für Reiner Sowa!

Reiner Sowa meets the Amicale and Citroën club in Iran
We were happy to hear that Reiner Sowa now has arrived in Iran. A few days ago he crossed the borders, and already was welcomed in Maku by some car enthusiasts and club members. His next larger stopover then was in Tabriz – Houtan Arefi, the Iranian Delegate of the ACI, had prepared for a welcome program with members of the classic committee of the “Iranian Motorcycle and Automobile Federation” in Tabriz.
Sure it was a great occasion to connect, and of course not to miss the local Citroën Dyane and a Citroën Méhari and some other classic cars!
Reiner’s stay included a well-prepared visit of historical places in Tabriz, and also another meeting with classic cars in Tabriz had been arranged.
Good to see that the Citroën club network is very active – and again thank you to Houtan Arefi and his friends and club members for making Reiner’s stay so much welcomed!
