Der Citroën SM-Club Deutschland e.V. feiert in diesem Jahr sein 25-jähriges Bestehen. Begangen wird dieses Jubiläum im Rahmen des internationalen Citroën SM-Treffens, das vom 25. bis 28. Mai 2012 in der Region Köln-Bonn stattfindet.

Zu diesem Treffen werden rund 120 internationale Teilnehmer samt ihrer Citroën SM im Rheinland erwartet. Höhepunkt wird die für den 27. Mai geplante Überlandfahrt durch die Region Köln-Bonn sein. Für den Nachmittag ist ein Zwischenstopp im Schloss Bensberg in Bergisch Gladbach vorgesehen.

Der 1987 von sieben Enthusiasten gegründete Citroën SM-Club zählt aktuell 280 Mitglieder. Der Club hat sich auf die Fahne geschrieben, den von 1970 bis 1975 weltweit insgesamt 12.920 mal produzierten Citroën SM bestmöglich zu erhalten. Hierfür werden Ersatzteile gesammelt und sofern möglich auch nachgefertigt.

„Der Citroën SM ist ein Generationen übergreifendes Fahrzeug“, so Jürgen Renner, erster Vorsitzender des Citroën SM-Clubs. „Die Faszination liegt in seinem grandiosen, zeitlosen Design. Die Verbindung eines italienischen Maserati Sportmotors mit einer der damaligen Zeit vorauseilenden Technik machen den Citroën SM unverwechselbar – aber auch sehr anspruchsvoll.“

25 Years of Citroën SM Club in Germany

Citroën Germany has launched a Press Release about the upcoming anniversary celebrations on the prestigious sports coupé produced ca. 40 years ago which we’d like to share with you, our translation:

“…The Citroën SM Club Germany this year celebrates its 25th anniversary in the context of international Citroën SM meeting that takes place from 25 until 28 May 2012 in the Cologne-Bonn region.

At that meeting in the Rhineland some 120 international drivers are expected to come together with their Citroën SM. Highlight is a cross-country parade planned on May 27 through the region of Cologne-Bonn. In the afternoon, a stop at the Castle of Bensberg in Bergisch-Gladbach is planned.

Founded in 1987 by seven enthusiasts, the Citroën SM club currently counts 280 members. The club’s mission is to preserve the Citroën SM in the best possible way. The car was built between 1970 to 1975 in a worldwide total of 12920 units. For this spare parts are being managed and reproduced whenever necessary.

“The Citroen SM is a cross-generation vehicle,” said Jürgen Renner, chairman of the Citroën SM club. “The fascination lies in its magnificent, timeless design. 25 ans du Citroën SM Club Deutschland

La Citroën SM Club Allemagne fête cette année son 25e anniversaire. Célébré cet anniversaire est dans le contexte de la réunion internationale des Citroën SM qui prend place le 25 à 28 Mai 2012 à la region Cologne-Bonn.

Lors de cette réunion, certains 120 internationaux proprietaires sont attendus avec leur Citroën SM en Rhénanie. Un des spectacles est preparé pour le 27e Mai ou on fait une parade à travers la région de Cologne-Bonn. Dans l’après-midi, arrêt à Château Bensberg à Bergisch Gladbach est fourni.

Fondée en 1987 par sept amateurs, le club Citroën SM compte actuellement 280 membres. Le club a pour objectif d’obtenir le total des 12920 Citroen SM produits entre 1970 à 1975 de la meilleure façon possible. Pour que cela soit perçu lorsque les pièces de rechange possibles et remises à neuf.
