(english below) Im vergangenen Jahr haben wir auf der Techno-Classica Besuch von Delegierten der “Classic Vehicle Union of China” bekommen, einer der ACI vergleichbaren Organisation im Reich der Mitte. Seit diesem Zeitpunkt besteht ein lockerer Austausch von Informationen – hier nun die erste Einladung zur Teilnahme an einer 16 Tage dauernden Rundreise durch China – im eigenen Oldtimer! Vom 6.-22. Oktober 2011 werden ca. 100 erwartete Teilnehmer die mehr als 3.880km zurücklegen – “all inclusive”, inklusive Benzin, Unterkunft, versicherter Container-Verfrachtung, Flugtickets etc.

Last year, at Technoclassica the German Citroën car clubs booth welcomed a delegation from the “Classic Vehicle Union of China”, an association which is similar to the ACI but for general vintage cars. Regular info exchange took place since then – now followed by their first invitation to join the 1st China Auto Rally 2011, an exciting 3.880km trip departing from Shanghai through the country with around 100 cars expected to join. The 16 day adventure will be going from Oct 6th-22nd, and it is advertised as “all-inclusive” (insured car container shipment, fueling, food and accomodation , flight tickets for 2 people, etc.)
