Bereits zum zwölften Mal treffen sich vom 4. bis 6. August 2017 Liebhaber und Fans klassischer Automobile zu den Classic Days rund um die malerische Kulisse von Schloss Dyck. In diesem Jahr erstmals mit von der Partie: die junge französische Premiummarke DS Automobiles, die eindrucksvolle Klassiker zeigt und gleichzeitig einen exklusiven Ausblick auf die automobile Zukunft bietet.

Die Classic Days rund um das historische Schloss Dyck nahe Düsseldorf ziehen Liebhaber klassischer Automobile aus ganz Europa an. Bei der diesjährigen zwölften Auflage präsentiert sich DS Automobiles mit einem Stand in der “Cherry Lane”. Dort kreiert die junge französische Premiummarke eine perfekte Symbiose aus klassischen Automobilen und zukünftigen Modellambitionen.

Eine original DS 21 als Cabriolet sowie ein SM werden die Blicke der Besucher auf sich ziehen. Die DS 21 kam im Oktober 1965 auf den Markt, wobei der Name Aufschluss über die Motorisierung der “Göttin” gibt. Der Motor mit einem Hubraum von 2.175 cm³ leistet 100 PS. Die Cabriolet-Variante gilt bis heute als eine Referenz in puncto automobiler Ästhetik und Raffinesse. Mit dem SM feierte 1970 ein echter Grand Tourisme seine Premiere auf dem Genfer Automobilsalon. Der luxuriöse SM besitzt ein einzigartiges Design und ist die Verkörperung aller Ideen, welche die Marke DS Automobiles ausmachen.

Mit dem DS 7 CROSSBACK präsentiert DS Automobiles zudem die Zukunft der Marke. Das erste Modell der zweiten Generation von DS Automobiles vereint französisches Savoir-Faire sowie hohe Qualitätsansprüche und überzeugt mit innovativen Technologien, einer hochwertigen Ausstattung und einem dynamischen Fahrgefühl. Bis zu seiner Markteinführung im Januar 2018 wird der Premium-SUV von DS Automobiles im Rahmen einer deutschlandweiten Roadshow attraktiv in Szene gesetzt − so wie am kommenden Wochenende auf Schloss Dyck.

Darüber hinaus bieten die Classic Days eine ideale Gelegenheit, die Kooperation mit dem Champagnerhaus Ruinart vorzustellen. Die Maison Ruinart wurde 1729 als erstes Champagnerhaus überhaupt gegründet und ist seitdem bekannt für die Eleganz und Exzellenz seiner Cuvées − ebenso essenzielle Werte der Marke DS. Die Besucher erwartet am Stand eine Kostprobe des edlen Schaumweins.

DS Automobiles at the German “Classic Days”: a Goddess, a Grand Tourisme and the Future


For the twelfth time (from 4th to 6th of August 2017), lovers and fans of classic cars will meet for the “Classic Days” around the picturesque area of the “Castle of Dyck” near Dusseldorf/Germany. This year, for the first time, the new French premium brand “DS Automobiles” will be exhibiting, showing impressive classics and at the same time offering an exclusive outlook on the future of the car.

The Classic Days around the historic “Schloss Dyck” near Düsseldorf attract lovers of classic cars from all over Europe. At this year’s twelfth edition, DS Automobiles will present a stand in the so-called “Cherry Lane”. Over here, the young French premium brand creates a perfect symbiosis of classic cars and future model ambitions.

An original DS21 convertible as well as an SM will attract the attention of the visitors. The DS21 was launched in October 1965, the name revealing the motorization of the “goddess”. The engine with a capacity of 2.175 ccm delivers 100 hp. The Cabriolet variant still applies today as a reference in terms of automotive aesthetics and refinement. With the SM, a true Grand Tourisme celebrated its premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in 1970. The luxurious SM has a unique design and is the incarnation of all the ideas that make up the brand DS Automobiles.

With the “DS 7 CROSSBACK”, DS Automobiles will also present the future of the brand. The first model of the second generation of DS Automobiles combines French “savoir-vivre” and high quality requirements and convinces with innovative technologies, high-quality equipment and a dynamic driving feeling. Before the market launch in January 2018, the premium SUV from DS Automobiles will be attracting people as part of a Germany-wide roadshow – as this weekend at Schloss Dyck.

In addition, the Classic Days offer an ideal opportunity to present the cooperation with the champagne manfacturer Ruinart. The “Maison Ruinart” was founded in 1729 as the first champagne house ever, and has since been known for the elegance and excellence of its cuvées – just as essential values ​​of the brand DS. Visitors will be offered a taste of the fine sparkling wine at the stand.
