Das Conservatoire, die Werkssammlung von Automobiles Citroën, hat rechtzeitig zum Frühjahr 2013 die Liste der verfügbaren Dossiers deutlich erweitert – aus der ursprünglich kleinen Handvoll, die im Jahr 2009 erstmalig aufgelegt wurde, sind mittlererweile 21 Dossiers entstanden.
Wer einmal einen Einblick in die Entwicklung einer solchen Sammlung hat nehmen können, kann sich vorstellen, dass es eine Herkules-Aufgabe ist, die vorhandenen und stetig neu eingehenden Informationen zu erfassen, zuzuordnen, zu sortieren und organisieren, zu scannen und darüber hinaus auch authoritativ der Öffentlichkeit zukommen zu lassen:
neben dem Interesse an der Historie steht natürlich auch die immense Herausforderung im Vordergrund, die “Wahrheit” – was lief wirklich ab in Produktion, Marketing, Design und Entwicklung? – zu präsentieren.
Wir freuen uns, ohne Umwege im direkten Draht mit der zuständigen Fachabteilung zu stehen und Euch stets auf dem Laufenden halten zu können, was sich im historischen Herzen des Unternehmens entwickelt. Ihre Arbeit zu honorieren, ist uns eine Ehre!

New updates from the Conservatoire
The Amicale Citroën Deutschland is happy to be in close and direct partnership also with the Conservatoire, Automobile Citroën’s heritage archive. Since 2009 the history documentation has started, from just a handful of documents we’re happy to see a development to a total of 21 detailed dossiers and documentations which are being made available to those who like to hear from first hand what happened in the unique and innovative history of Citroën.
Organizing, scanning, filtering, associating and creating availability of an archive is a tremendous and challenging work – the Amicale has continuously reported on this matter. Not everything can be made visible right from the beginning.
Our own philosophy is that it is also a duty to help spreading the word about the history and to value the works which have been done. Thus we’re happy to give via our humble information channels an insight into what is developing in that enourmous “treasure chest”!
To quote from the entry letter:
